How do I recover access if I lose my 2FA device?

If you cannot use your usual two-factor authentication method, try another method you previously configured. You must still be able to complete the first sign-in step.

Use another configured method

  1. Sign in until the two-step verification screen appears.

  2. Select Use another method.

  3. Choose a method you can still access, such as SMS to a previously configured phone or your authenticator application.

  4. Enter the verification code for that method.

  5. After signing in, open Settings → Security to review your methods and replace one you can no longer use.

An alternate method must be configured before it is needed. An email address or phone number on your profile is not necessarily enabled for two-step verification.

If a backup-code option is available

Use a saved, unused backup code only if the verification screen offers that option. Do not assume codes were generated automatically when you enrolled an authenticator. The available methods depend on your account's configuration. If you have no saved code or no backup-code option, use another configured method or contact support.

If no available method works

Contact support with your account email address and organization name. Be ready to verify your identity. Do not send your password, authenticator secret, or unused backup codes.

An administrator in your organization cannot reset or disable your two-factor authentication from inside Raise More. Support must review the recovery request when you have lost every available method.
